Jared smashed up his hand yesterday. We were out rollerblading around Lake Calhoun and we stopped for some water at a fountain that you had to pump. After a refreshing drink, Jared still wanted more, but let the guy who was waiting behind us have some first. As Jared was trying to move on his rollerblades, he held on to the top of the pump, just as this guy took the handle and gave it a hard pump, smashing Jared's hand, which was still holding on.
There wasn't too much blood, but his hand is pretty swollen and very black and blue. It is, however, good insentive to get the tetnis shot he has been needing for a while.
